Gunman Robs Peninsula Gas Station: Report

BURLINGAME, CA — Police said a gunman who robbed a Peninsula gas station Wednesday remains at large, The San Mateo Daily Journal reports.

The incident occurred at about 1:20 p.m. at the 76 station at 1480 Broadway, according to the report. The suspect pulled a gun and demanded the clerk give him money from the register.

The victim suffered minor injuries according to the report.

The suspect ran away after an exchange with a customer who tried to intervene, the report said.

The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light colored athletic shorts, red shoes and a mask according to police.
