Hillsborough Private School Ranked Among Nation’s Top 15

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — A San Mateo-Area school was ranked among the nation's top 15 private schools in a newly released poll.

Crystal Springs Uplands School was ranked No. 15 in the Niche 2021 Best Private Schools rankings.

CSU was among three local schools that ranked among the top 15. Stanford Online High School was ranked No. 8 and Castilleja of Palo Alto No. 14.

The rankings were based on analysis of academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users, the school rankings and review website said.

Test scores, college enrollment, culture and diversity, parent and student surveys and student/teacher ratios were among the factors Niche considered in its ranking.
