Still have these holiday-edition snacks in your pantry? Don't eat them!

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA – Hostess Brands has issued a voluntary recall of its Holiday White Peppermint Hostess Twinkies due to possible Salmonella contamination from the products' confectionary coating, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The "limited-edition" Twinkies were sold in multipack boxes over the holidays at supermarkets and convenience stores throughout California and nationwide, and consumers who may still have the snacks on hand are advised to not eat them and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
This recall does not apply to any other Hostess products, and no illnesses have been reported to date, the company stated.
