Let's Clear The Shelters: 'Violet' Needs A Home - Maybe Yours?

BURLINGAME, CA —Hundreds of animal shelters across the country, including the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA in Burlingame, are participating in Clear the Shelters pet adoption events on Saturday, Aug. 17, to help find forever homes for all types of critters.
At the Burlingame location, prospective pet owners can name their own adoption fees on more than 100 animals including dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, rabbits, birds and reptiles.
One little pup seeking a family is "Violet," a 6-year-old, spayed Chihuahua weighing in at a tiny 4.9 pounds. Violet is described as affectionate with a fondness for being carried by her favorite people. Those interested in Violet can follow this link or reference ID number A842967.
