Measure W approved!

Transportation ballot measure promises many benefits

It's official! Measure W passed! That means an extra $80 million a year for transportation improvements - including safer bike and pedestrian routes, safe routes to school, affordable bus rates, electric buses and incentives to take 10,000 vehicle off the road every weekday.

A total of 28 local community nonprofits helped shape this measure, including the Citizens Environmental Council of Burlingame and Sustainable San Mateo County. Their goal was to make sure that it addresses those who are underserved by transportation and emphasizes sustainability.
