Minor Gas Leak Fixed

A small gas line break occurred on the 1400 block of Burlingame Avenue around 7 a.m. this morning. 

"We received a call of a gas leak at 7:18 this morning and we were on the scene at 7:30," said PG&E spokesman Joe Molica. "We completed final repairs at 8:45 this morning."

Molica said a crew demolishing the Safeway on the 1400 block of Howard Avenue ruptured a service line carrying gas to the building. 

The leak is now repaired. Throughout the process, all streets and businesses remained open.
