Peninsula Humane Society Puts Bonded Chinchilla Trio For Adoption

April, May and June were recently surrendered to the animal shelter by their owner.

BURLINGAME, CA — Local residents seeking to adopt a bonded trio of Chinchillas now have their chance through the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA.

The female Chinchillas, appropriately named April, May and June, were recently surrendered to the animal shelter by their owner, according to Buffy Martin Tarbox, the communications manager of PHS/SPCA.

Tarbox added that the trio is currently slightly overweight and will need a large space to accommodate them, with lots of room to explore.

“Overall, this fun-loving trio would bring a lot of joy, and in fact triple the Chinchilla fun, to an experienced Chinchilla owner,” Tarbox said in a news release.

The adoption fee for the trio is $50 for all three, and they will be adopted together.
