Peninsula Stroke Association Opens Office in Burlingame

The Peninsula Stroke Association brings its mission to Burlingame.

Next week, the Peninsula Stroke Association (PSA) will open its newest office, located in Burlingame. On Wednesday, August 29, the office will open its doors as a resource for all residents of San Mateo County during a grand opening celebration.

“We’ve always had numerous PSA activities in San Mateo County,” said Rezvan Moghaddam, executive director. “With the on-going support of Mills-Peninsula Hospital, we have established an office to further support stroke survivors and their families.”

Additionally, the office offers stroke prevention community education for people living in the community.

The Wednesday open house features speakers discussing stroke, stroke prevention and emergency response services, including Nancy Houston-Miller, RN, a member of the Board of Directors at the Peninsula Stroke Association and Rich Kimbrel, RN, clinical manager at American Medical Responses in San Mateo County.

The office will be located at 1600 Trousdale Drive, Suite 1500. The opening runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
