Peninsula Strong-Arm Robbery Suspect Arrested
The incident was reported to authorities Wednesday at around 1:40 p.m.
MILLBRAE, CA – A 39-year-old man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of a Millbrae strong-arm robbery, San Mateo County sheriff's officials said.
Authorities allege Troy Irvin grabbed a new cellphone from an employee's hand at the Walgreens store at 615 Broadway. The incident was reported at around 1:40 p.m.
Investigators were told that a suspect asked to look at a cellphone behind a locked cabinet, and then grabbed it from the employee's hand and ran out of the store.

A suspect matching the description provided by the employee was spotted in the 100 block of El Camino Real and identified as Irvin, who had the stolen phone in his possession, according to the sheriff's office.
Irvin was booked into county jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
