Burlingame residents took to the streets Tuesday night during neighborhood block parties for National Night Out.

Police rotated around the parties and spent time patrolling Burlingame Avenue and Broadway to encourage crime prevention education.

The goal of National Night Out is promoting safety and crime awareness, as well as building relationships between neighbors and the police and their community.
