The new Safeway complex brought more than just new business to Burlingame. Sure, residents now have a new grocery store, coffee house, sandwich spot, burger joint and more, but there's something else for residents sitting above it all.
Situated atop the business complex is a public garden. Although the garden opened a couple of months ago, it seems as though it is still a bit of a secret around town.
The gates to the garden are sometimes closed, which can be misleading, as it remains open from 9 a.m. until about 30 minutes before dusk.
