Burlingame police activity from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19

Friday, Sept. 17, 2010

6:52 a.m. Construction noise was heard before hours on the 700 block of Paloma Avenue when a machine was started to relocate it elsewhere.

8:47 a.m. A car was broken in to on the 1300 block of Old Bayshore Highway when the rear window was broken.

2:36 p.m. A burglary occurred on the 0 block of Ingold Road. The locks were broken off of the fences and copper wire was stolen.

10:32 p.m. A guest at a 1600 block Old Bayshore Highway hotel caused a disturbance when he or she refused to pay for his or her room.

11:15 p.m. A resident complained of a water balloon being thrown at his or her car at the intersection of Broadway and California Drive. The balloon hit the hood and damaged the vehicle.

Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010

9:29 a.m. A purse was stolen at the front desk of a business on the 100 block of Anza Boulevard. 

4:43 p.m. Two people were starting fires along the Bay Front trail.

9:37 p.m. A resident sprayed noisy subjects with a hose when they turned their music up on the 500 block of Rollins Road.

10:12 p.m. Vandalism occurred on the 1300 block of De Soto Avenue when eggs were thrown at a house. Some eggs got through an open window, hitting a computer.

Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010

12:49 p.m. Five subjects between the ages of 17 and 19 were caught smoking marijuana on the 200 block of Victoria Road.

2:24 p.m. A penguin statue was stolen from the yard of a home on the 2700 block of Burlingview Drive.

10:00 p.m. The traffic signals were working incorrectly at the intersection of Broadway and California Drive.
