Friday, Oct. 1, 2010

1:53 a.m. A dog had been barking for longer than 30 minutes on the 1600 block of Sanchez Avenue and the caller was concerned there may be a reason for the barking.

12:40 p.m. A fence appeared to have been vandalized in order for an individual to gain entrance behind a 1100 Howard Avenue block building.

3:58 p.m. There was an attempted crime on the 1100 block of Douglas Avenue when a male grabbed a wetsuit and ran.

11:37 p.m. A car stereo was stolen on the 1800 block of El Camino Real.

Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010

7:37 a.m. On the 400 block of Bloomfield Road, a red 96 Dodge Ram was keyed and its tires were slashed.

1:44 p.m. Juveniles caused a disturbance on the 1300 block of Howard when they tried to buy black markers, which an employee would not sell if they were to be used for grafitti.

10:27 p.m. A white Escalade was swerving at El Camino Real and Floribunda Avenue.

Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010

5:54 a.m. A woman on the 1400 block of Drake Avenue heard noises along the side of her house and then thought she heard her back door open.

1:11 p.m. A car window was smashed and briefcase and keys stolen from inside along the 1500 block of Los Altos Drive.

11:45 p.m. Flames were coming out of a power line on the 0 block of Stanley Road, which fell to the ground while still on fire.

Monday, Oct. 4, 2010

7:48 p.m. A GPS was stolen from an unlocked car on the 600 block of Rollins Road.

11:09 a.m. A big truck hit a tree limb and was having trouble disentangling at Burlingame Avenue and Bloomfield Road.

2:05 p.m. A resident found an arrow in his or her backyard on the 1100 block of Balboa Avenue.

10:15 p.m. A woman returned home on the 200 block of Anita Road to find her door locked from inside and the television on. She lives alone with her son, who was with his father.
