Police Blotter: Business Burglaries and Sneaky Swimmer

Thursday, June 14

12:14 a.m. There was a report of two men in cars shooting BBs at plastic bottles on the 1100 block of Chula Vista Avenue.

8:53 a.m. An alarm was sounding from a 1000 block of Laguna Avenue home. A door was open, but all checked clear inside.

5:30 p.m. A citizen reported a male trying to steal her dog that she had tied up near the post office on the 1300 block of Broadway. He denied trying to take the dog. The woman wanted no further action.

9:01 a.m. Two burglaries occured at businesses on the 1700 block of El Camino Real. They were ransacked and money was taken.

2:05 p.m. An unknown subject broke a fence at Burlingame High School and went swimming in the pool.

5:28 p.m. A female resident in an apartment building on the 1900 block of Garden Drive was pounding on the doors of other tenants. She had been drinking and agreed to remain in her apartment.

7:49 p.m. A vehicle was reported as stolen, but it turned out the reporting subject's nephew had moved the car and forgot to tell anyone.

Saturday, June 16

12:06 a.m. There was a report of a drunk man on a balcony trying to enter a unit on the 500 block of Almer Road.

5:44 p.m. There was a report of juveniles shooting people with super soakers on the 1600 block of Marco Polo Way.

6:42 p.m. A bar stool was stolen from the 1000 block of California Drive. The bar stool was found at the train station.

Sunday, June 17

12:53 p.m. A man was acting strangely at a coffee shop on the 1200 block of Burlingame Avenue.

4:30 p.m. A citizen reported she could not find her car. He father had the car and picked up the female.

5:09 p.m. Residents on the 700 block of Walnut Avenue reported a suspicious person entering their neighbor's home, who is on vacation. The subject turned out to be a relative who had a key.
