Police Blotter: Pot Versus Bat Argument Leads to Arrest

Thursday, September 6
12:06 a.m. An officer contacted a person in a car at Airport Boulevard and Lang Road. The man had an argument with his wife and was just out cooling down.
12:54 a.m. A resident on the 100 block of Paloma Avenue reported that two neighbors were arguing, and one was holding a pot and the other was holding a bat. Christopher Bernard was arrested for being disorderly and drunk.

2:56 a.m. A resident in an apartment building on the 3100 block of Frontera Way reported pounding on a neighbor's window every 10 minutes. Officers made contact with a man who said he was attempting to get his girlfriend's attention.
10:23 a.m. There was a report of a car break-in on the 1900 block of Garden Drive. Items including a GPS device were reported missing.

10:52 a.m. A man reported being tapped on the back while at church on the 1300 block of Bayswater Avenue. He said he did not appreciate being tapped on the back, and officers told him to call if he saw the person again in church.
11:20 a.m. There was a telephone wire down on the 800 block of Maple Avenue.
1:33 p.m. Mattresses and other objects were found dumped in front of a 1200 block of El Camino Real apartment building.
3:10 p.m. A dog walker reportedly brought seven dogs to the dog park on the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard, breaking the park's rule of two dogs per person. The dog walker was contacted regarding the policy.
4:25 p.m. There was a report of a boy knocking on a door on the 100 block of Lorton Avenue with no one answering. When police arrived, the found the boy was inside and that his mother had been napping.
5:19 p.m. A woman reported that a van was driving so far at Drake Avenue and Hillside Drive that it was up on two wheels. She was worried the van may be related to recent burglaries.
