Police Blotter: Car Collides With Telephone Pole and More

Saturday, August 18
3:23 a.m. A city vehicle was damaged after a garage door closed upon it on the 1100 block of Trousdale Drive.
4:19 a.m. A car hit a telephone pole on the 1000 block of El Camino Real. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

9:22 a.m. An alarm was accidentally set off by painters on the 100 block of Anza Bouelvard.
8:38 p.m. A resident on the 1100 block of Summer Avenue reported a neighbor came into her home and vandalized a dog bark collar.

Sunday, August 19
3:16 a.m. A resident on the 1300 block of Carlos Avenue reported strange sounds coming from downstairs. The home was checked and everything was OK.
2:01 p.m. A resident on the 1200 block of El Camino Real reporter her neighbor rang the doorbell and yelled at her. The neighbor denied the allegations.
11:12 p.m. A subject reported that someone was knocking over garbage cans on the 1100 block of Paloma Avenue and appeared to be angry.
Monday, August 20
10:10 a.m. A resident on the 1400 block of Drake Avenue reported that a man knocked on her door and told her he was there for the trees. She did not know what he was talking about and he left. Police could not locate him.
1:29 p.m. A citizen at Broadway and El Camino Real reported a swarm of bees. A beekeeper came and was unable to locate the swarm.
6:17 p.m. A citizen said as he drove past a parking lot near Broadway and California Drive he saw one driver punch another. Police could not locate anyone.
Tuesday, August 21
6:22 a.m. Stolen lawn furniture was reported from the 1800 block of Barroilhet Avenue.
1:42 p.m. A business manager on the 1600 block of Rollins Road reported someone cut a hole in the fence.
9:36 p.m. A resident reported that there was a man asleep in her apartment building's laundry room on the 1700 block of Marco Polo Way. He was drunk and his sober siter toook him home.
