Police Blotter: Car Drives Onto Lawn and More

Friday, July 13
1:36 a.m. A car drove onto a resident's lawn on the 100 block of Loma Vista Drive and hit a planter.
3:18 a.m. There was a report of a person underneath a car on the 700 block of Fairfield Road, perhaps trying to steal something. The person was last seen running towards El Camino Real.

8:03 a.m. There were downed electrical wires reported on the 0 block of Anita Road.
10:19 a.m. A resident on the 100 block of Burlingame Avenue was home and someone tried to burglarize his home. The suspects fled when they saw someone was home.

7:09 p.m. There was a report of a man entering an apartment through a window on the 2000 block of Murchison Drive. It was found that the man lived in the apartment and had locked himself out.
Saturday, July 14
4:11 a.m. A resident's dog on the 0 block of Loma Vista Drive trapped a raccoon in their house.
1:20 p.m. A resident reported his window had been shot with a BB gun on the 1600 block of McDonald Way.
4:13 p.m. There was a report of shoplifting on the 1300 block of Burlingame Avenue. The suspects fled on skateboards and could not be located.
7:07 p.m. Six to seven juveniles were reported throwing water balloons at cars on the 100 block of Bloomfield Road. They said they were only throwing them at themselves and an adult confirmed the story.
Sunday, July 15
2:32 a.m. A cab driver reported customers refusing to pay on the 1100 block of Broadway. The customers paid when police arrived.
7:56 a.m. A resident of an apartment building on the 1400 block of El Camino Real reported his neighbor's door had been open since the previous morning. The resident was contacted and said she just wanted to have her door open.
9:41 a.m. Loud construction was reported on the 2900 block of Frontera Way. The responding officer found one person with a shovel and reasonable sounds levels.
