Police Blotter: Car Vandalized With Sharpies and More

Wednesday, August 29
1:24 a.m. A loud party was reported on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue.
11:00 a.m. A school official at Burlingame High School reported a strange car was parked near the school. Police found the car had a reason to be there.

11:51 a.m. A child on the 1000 block of Drake Avenue accidentally dialed 9-1-1.
1:59 p.m. A car was vandalized by an unknown subject who wrote on the car with a sharpie on the 1300 block of Bernal Avenue.

5:13 p.m. A property manager on the 800 block of Airport Boulevard reported there were two strange cars in a parking lot and those in the cars may have been doing drugs. The occupants were contacted and one said he had a medical marijuana card and had smoked a little marijuana. They agreed to go for a walk before driving under the influence of marijuana.
7:11 p.m. A citizen on the 1600 block of Albemarle Way called to report a vehicle parked on the incorrect side of the road that was carrying toilets, which were facing the house. The vehicle was moved.
9:51 p.m. There was a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his vehicle on the 0 block of Highland Avenue. The reporting party said he had been that way since 4 p.m. He was contacted and said he was delivering newspapers and stopped to rest.
10:43 p.m. There was a disturbance at a store on the 1400 block of Howard Avenue when a girlfriend confronted her boyfriend at the store where he worked. She was told not to return to the store to discuss relationship issues.
