Police Blotter: Residence Burglarized and More

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, August 4

1:34 a.m. There was a report of assault and battery taking place at a bar on the 1300 block of Bayshore Highway. A report was filed.

2:20 a.m. A resident on the 100 block of Lorton Avenue reported tools were being dropped outside of her home. She thought this was done in an effort to harass her.

6:10 p.m. A pool repairman began repairing a hotel pool on the 700 block of Airport Boulevard. The manager said there was nothing wrong with the pool. The repairman had already started working and damaged the pool before finding out he was supposed to respond to a different hotel in another city.

3:33 a.m. A resident on the 100 block of Elm Avenue reported something was on the roof. It was found to be a raccoon.

10:22 a.m. A resident on the 0 block of Howard Avenue reported an acquaintance was previously drinking and now in her backyard yelling at her. The subject was sent on his way.

2:54 p.m. A couple on the 1300 block of Edgehill Drive locked themselves out of their residence.

Monday, August 6

2:31 p.m. A man reported finding a bullet while walking in the Burlingame Canyon near the 2900 block of Arguello Drive.

3:36 p.m. A resident on the 1500 block of Broadway returned home to find that his front door chain was locked from inside and his back glass sliding door was unlocked. It was discovered he was a victim of burglary.

4:07 p.m. A subject reported a resident refused to return his tools on the 1100 block of Palm Drive after he finished work, but left tools at the job site. Police responded and the tools were returned.

11:36 p.m. There was a report of juveniles yelling and appearing to have fun on the 1300 block of Vancouver Avenue. They could not be located.
