Police Report: Gun Stolen From Resident and More

Saturday, September 15

12:33 a.m. A subject was found urinating in public on the 200 block of Park Road. He was cited.

7:06 a.m. Subjects from a business on the 200 block of Primrose Road reported a man stole their tip jar. They wanted him advised not to return to the store.

8:23 a.m. A resident reported that the PA system at Burlingame High School was very loud. Repairs were being made.

11:00 a.m. A fallen tree branch damaged a car on the 800 block of Burlingame Avenue.

1:44 p.m. A gun was stolen from a resident's car or home on the 1400 block of Castillo Avenue.

Sunday, September 16

12:44 a.m. Three subjects playing football on the 1600 block of Sebastian Drive were sent on their way.

6:12 a.m. A resident called and reported juveniles sneaked into a vacant home on the 1100 block of Edgehill Drive. Coincidentally, the reporter's daughter was one of the juveniles.

8:02 a.m. Liquid was leaking from a truck at Chula Vista Avenue and Sanchez Avenue. It was found to be clean water and the truck was part of sewer pipe construction.

Monday, September 17

1:43 a.m. A woman reported she heard an injured animal on the 1500 block of Cypress Avenue. It turned out to be trapped in a garbage can, and when she knocked the can over the animal ran away.

9:20 a.m. A resident on the 500 block of Peninsula Avenue reported someone knocked on her door and then tried to open it. She did not see who it was.

5:37 p.m. A woman with a 17-year-old daughter received a catalog of adult materials. She thought it may have been a prank.
