'Robust Warming Trend' Hitting Burlingame, Hillsborough

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Planning your weekend? The National Weather Service says we can expect a warming trend through the weekend, with Bay Area inland temperatures getting up to the 90s.

"Slight cooling is expected near the coast on Sunday, but inland areas will remain warm through the end of the weekend," the NWS said Friday. "Temperatures will cool back down to seasonal averages early next week as an upper trough arrives along the West Coast."

Sunny, with a high near 73. Light and variable wind becoming west 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 54. West wind 16 to 21 mph becoming light west southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 77. Light and variable wind becoming west 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 70. West wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
