This Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. the new Salt & Straw store at 1309 Burlingame Ave. will sell $1 scoops of its creative flavors of ice cream with proceeds benefiting the Burlingame Community for Education (BCE). The store will officially open on Friday.
Check out the locally inspired flavors incorporating Sightglass coffee, Dandelion and TCHO chocolate and even Cowgirl Creamery's Mt. Tam cheese, as well as special Halloween flavors that include candy, pig's blood and creepy crawlers.
