Second Hillsborough Home Burglary in a Week

Police are looking for any witnesses.

Police in Hillsborough are searching for possible witnesses to a home burglary in the city Monday.

Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Lakeview Drive at about 1:45 p.m., according to Hillsborough police.

Some time between 10:30 a.m. and the time the crime was reported, an unknown suspect broke a rear window to get into the home and stole various items, police said.

Anyone who might have seen any suspicious vehicles or people in the neighborhood at the time of the crime should call Hillsborough police at (650) 375-7470.

A second residential burglary was reported Thursday evening in the neighborhood of Eucalyptus Avenue and Willow Road.

An unknown individual entered through a unlocked sliding door of a residence and stole items.
