SMC Robbery: 2 Teen Girls Arrested In Connection To Case
Police say the two girls snuck up to a woman from behind, ripped her phone out of her hand and shoved her to the ground.

MILLBRAE, CA — Two teenage girls were arrested after stealing a cellphone in Millbrae on Wednesday night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
The two girls snuck up to a woman from behind, ripped her phone out of her hand and shoved her to the ground around 10 p.m. in the area of California Drive and South Irwin Place, sheriff's officials said.
Investigators believe the girls targeted the victim on BART before following her onto city streets. The girls, 15 and 16 years old, were arrested and taken to juvenile hall to be booked on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy, along with a misdemeanor allegation for obstructing/delaying.
