Suspicious Person Reported Outside Hillsborough Middle School

Police are investigating after a man reportedly approached a student near Crocker Middle School and offered him a ride to school.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person near Crocker Middle School in Hillsborough Wednesday morning, the Hillsborough Police Department said.

Sometime 7:45 and 8 a.m Wednesday, a man driving a gray, newer four-door sedan approached a student walking to school and asked the student if he needed a ride to school, according to police. The student refused and the driver left.

The student described the driver as a white man, about 60 years old, clean-shaven with gray and white hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a white shirt with buttons, a red tie and dark-colored slacks, police said.
