Thousands Gather at Burlingame on the Avenue Free Street Fair

The Peninsula’s favorite summer arts and entertainment festival is returning to Burlingame Avenue, this August 18-19, 2018! Hosted by the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce, this event is Free to the community, drawing more than 25,000 people over the two-day extravaganza.

Burlingame On the Avenue features hundreds of talented artisans displaying hand-crafted products. These artists’ creations include paintings, textiles, jewelry, children’s fabric books, container gardens, photography, and more! Everything is unique, so this is the perfect place to find a special treat or gift for family and friends that you can’t find anywhere else.

Once again, Burlingame on the Avenue is proud to offer two entertainment stages throughout the festival, which boast a diverse mix of musical and dance performances. New this year is a special focus on jazz music, with our band lineup featuring a number of incredible jazz bands on the Main Stage, like the Dalt Williams Quintet and the Jonah Cabral Quintet. With talented local musicians playing jazz, swing, and bebop, these groups are incredibly excited to spread this rich art form to the great community of Burlingame as attendees shop, eat, and enjoy time with their families.

This festival caters to the whole family, with an interactive Kids Zone open to children of all ages, offering carnival style rides and family friendly games. Don’t miss out on the fun; we’ll see you on the Avenue this summer!
