Tom Steyer Hosting 'Need To Impeach Town Hall' In East Bay

BURLINGAME, CA — Billionaire Tom Steyer is hosting a "Need to Impeach Town Hall" in the East Bay later this month. The event will be held at the Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton on April 23.
The peninsula resident who bankrolled an "impeach President Trump" campaign says the event is intended to urge Congressman Eric Swalwell to push to start impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.
Swalwell, D-Dublin, this week announced that he is seeking the 2020 Democratic nomination for president. Swalwell, who has represented California's 15th congressional district since he defeated longtime incumbent Pete Stark in 2012, grew up in Dublin and is former Alameda County prosecutor.

Swalwell graduated from Dublin High School and is a former city council member. He is holding a kickoff rally at Dublin High School on April 14.
