Local Ice is offering free sprinkles on all ice cream orders on Sunday. "Made in small batches using organic ingredients, their creamy ice cream and dairy-free Italian ices are hand-crafted on site! Classic treats like splits, sundaes and milk shakes are also available."

SMITTEN ICE CREAM: FREE CONES OF NEW 'SURFER GIRL' FLAVOR IN SF BAY AREA

In celebration of National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, Smitten Ice Cream and indie magazine Cherry Bombe will debut a new ice cream offering,"Surfer Girl," that raises awareness and money to support eco-friendly sustainability efforts.

The flavor collaboration features a blue butterfly pea flower tea ice cream mixed with cherry cookie dough. To minimize waste, the new flavor is only offered in a waffle cone with an edible spoon or to-go in reusable glass jars. Smitten Ice Cream and Cherry Bombe are donating 25 percent of profits from the flavor to the Surfrider Foundation.

Smitten Ice Cream will give away free mini cones of Surfer Girl starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 to the first 100 people to visit the Hayes Valley shop, 432 Octavia St. in San Francisco, and the first 25 people who visit all other Bay Area shops. SWEET ROSE CREAMERY'S EIGHT-SCOOP PARTY SUNDAE:
