Pastor Joins Sheriff's Station Volunteer Clergy

Pastor Skip Ball of Epic of Malibu has completed his training to become one of 's Volunteer Clergy.

Sheriff's Volunteer Clergy members from a variety of faiths and denominations can assist members of the community when a need arises and can be requested by contacting a deputy at the scene of an incident or calling the Station dispatch at 818-878-1808. 

Ball, a pastor for over 30 years, attended 24 hours of Sheriff's Department training—patrol procedures, jail operations, and communications equipment familiarization.—to qualify as a member of the Volunteer Clergy.
