At the Farmers Market: Gunnar & Jake's Gourmet Foods

Diagnosed with a rare kidney disease at 16 years old, Kristi Murray was told by doctors that she'd never be able to have children. Murray defied these expectations by giving birth not once, but twice after her initial diagnosis and after having an organ transplant.

Gunnar & Jake's Gourmet Foods takes its name from Murray's two boys. The products were born of necessity: Murray had to prepare meals that were low in salt because of her condition.
