Calabasas Business Owner Recognized By City Council

CALABASAS, CA — A Calabasas resident and business owner was recognized by the Calabasas City Council for completing the Certification in Cybersecurity at a recent meeting.

Billy Solano, CEO of CMIT Solutions of North LA, was recognized by the Calabasas City Council with the certification. The Certification in Cybersecurity was presented by Mayor David Shapiro of Calabasas and Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel during a Special Calabasas City Council Meeting, the press release said.

CMIT Solutions of North LA, which is an information technology solutions provider for small and mid-sized businesses, also received the Continuum Partner of the Year award this past October, the CMIT Solutions of North LA press release said.

"It is such an honor to be recognized by the city of Calabasas," Billy Solano, CEO of CMIT Solutions of North LA, said. "I’m a proud member of the board of directors for the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and more than the 50 percent of my revenue comes from companies local to Calabasas. The support I receive from the city and local businesses is what keeps me motivated to continue to grow within the cybersecurity industry."

CMIT Solutions currently provides IT support to hundreds of businesses helping them manage and protect sensitive data throughout the greater Calabasas region, the press release said.
