Calabasas Library Launches App

A virtual library in the palm of your hands will check out books, access personal accounts and databases, and more.

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas Library is open for in-person visits, but in case you’re still in virtual pandemic mode, it has a new mobile app.

The Calabasas Library app, which is available at the Apple app store or Google play, allows members to search for materials, check their account, check out books, and more. The app can also be downloaded here.

The “My Account” feature shows checkouts, holds, fines, and other information. The app also features database information and links, webpages from the library website, events calendar, and even streaming video. It also features an ISBN barcode scanner that tells members if books are available at the library.

To use the app to check out materials, members can either go to the library, access its wifi, and use the app’s scanner to check out books. Members can check out ebooks and audiobooks from the app, but they must access the Cloud Library app first.

For questions, email Karilyn Steward at ksteward@calabasaslibrary.org or support@iii.com. More information on the app can be found here.
