Gunman Arrested After 2 Wounded At Calabasas Gated Community
Two people were shot at the Mountain View Estates gated community in Calabasas.

CALABASAS, CA — An alleged armed domestic violence suspect was in custody Thursday morning after a nearly six-hour search in the Mountain View Estates area in Calabasas.
Deputies responded to the 5000 block of North Mountain View Drive at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a person with a gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities asked residents to stay inside their homes and lock their doors as the search was underway.

A female victim was taken to a hospital by helicopter, but details about her injuries were not disclosed, according to Supervisor Cheryl Sims of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
At 11:30 p.m., the sheriff's department's Malibu/Lost Hills Station tweeted "Suspect in custody....the community is safe."

"Deputies will be on scene conducting their investigation throughout the night," according to the tweet.
The name of the suspect was not disclosed.
