Home Sweet Home: National Adoption Awareness Month Event

There’s no place like a permanent home, and the moment a foster child finds their own is a life-changing experience. Our County. Our Kids., a program of the Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services, is excited to celebrate the adoption of local youth at their Adoption Awareness Event on November 20th.

The event starts at 1 p.m. and will be hosted at the Santa Maria Juvenile Court House. Light appetizers and beverages will be available along with fun activities for children.

Department Specialist at Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services. “Knowing they have a safe and welcoming home as we enter this holiday season is a heartwarming feeling for all of us at Our County.
