Kanye West Builds Huge White Walls Around Calabasas Property

The rapper erected giant walls in the same spot he tried to build Star Wars-inspired domes in 2019.

CALABASAS, CA — Kanye West's admiration for President Trump is well-known, so it should come as little surprise that the rapper is building a wall around his Calabasas Hills home.

West has built large white walls around a ranch home and church on his three-acre property. Images show that the entrance to one of the walls is a circular tunnel. Their exact purpose is unclear.

The walls exist on the same site where West built Star Wars-inspired dome buildings as affordable housing last year, and West even suggested that they could be used as housing for the homeless. In Sept. 2019, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works ordered him to take them down for building without the right permits. Many Calabasans complained about the noise and traffic that the domes brought to the area.

West eventually built the domes on property he owns in Wyoming with his wife Kim and their four children.

West built the walls during a flailing presidential campaign that failed to qualify on many ballots, and a series of erratic tweets saying he had been planning to divorce his wife for years, calling his mother-in-law Kris Jenner a "white supremacist", and calling himself Moses.
