A little known fact that hides a wealth of corruption in Calabasas

The Rule of Law has been badly broken

For over 21 years a dirty little secret has been well hidden, but no more, here it is:

The following information was provided me by the California Bureau of Real Estate regarding a development in Calabasas known as Mountain Park Estates.

"We have researched your request for DRE file number 064046LA-A01, and have determined the
following:
"The above referenced filing was abandoned by this office on 1/19/95 after notification of pending
abandonment was made to the applicant of record, and no request to keep the file active was received
by our office.
The filing was then destroyed in 2001 (we keep abandoned files for a period of 6 years prior to
destruction)."

Someone is looking the other way, there is no more PUD, the development is an ordinary subdivision subject to the Subdivision Map Act and all the streets in that development are Public streets. The reason the BRE abandoned the development was because the developer and his title company "failed to disclose a material fact", they had sequestered a recorded covenant that provides access to over 400 acres of land in filings with the State and County.

This is one of the greatest land frauds of the 1990's and involves the non other than the "Conservancy" as a key player who are a beneficiary of this covenant. Failure to disclose a material fact that caused the State to issue fraudulent Public Reports for this development is a crime that was punished by confiscation of all monies on account for the development and the abandonment of the PUD map status.

Dissemination of this information has been a long time coming and there is a lot more to this cover up than what is discussed here, the LVMWD is also a player as they hold fee title to an easement in every street and the Fire Lane that is currently in clear violation of County Fire codes regarding Fire Emergency Access Easements. The Secondary Access road and Fire Lane is fenced, chained, and over grown, preventing any access at all.

Someone in the City knows what has happened and I believe at the highest levels, as I recall one of the City's mayors is or was in residence at Mountain Park. There are a lot of communities that would love to be able to gate off a section of Public streets for many reasons however the only way this is possible is in a Planned Unit Development with the approval of the State of California and the good people who live in the Mountain Park community lost that right on January 19, 1995 scant months before the City incorporated. Some one knows.....
