Los Angeles County Girl's Random Act Of Kindness Goes Viral

CALABASAS, CA -- A Calabasas girl's random act of kindness is going viral Sunday on social media. Clara Daly's mother, Jane, wrote on Facebook that her daughter helped a blind and deaf man on a recent flight by communicating with him using American Sign Language.

Shortly after the flight took off, a flight attendant made an announcement asking if anyone knew sign language," Jane Daly wrote on Facebook. "Clara has been studying American Sign Language so she rang the flight attendant button. They explained that the passenger was not only deaf, but also blind. The only way you can communicate with him was by signing into his hand."

Jane Daly said her daughter jumped at the opportunity to help the man communicate on the flight.

"Several times he requested her assistance throughout the flight," Jane Daly wrote. "Toward the end of the flight he asked for her again, and this time he just wanted to talk. She spent the remainder of the flight until landing with him."

The passenger apparently asked Clara questions that she answered by signing the letters into his hand.

"After the flight, Clara told me that she thought it was meant to be that our original flight was cancelled and we were placed on this flight so that she could be there to help this man," Jane Daly wrote. "She'll probably kill me for posting this, but - Proud of my girl."

Looks like thousands of Facebook users are also proud of Clara.
