Swim And Gym Return To Calabasas In July

The Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center announced that it will reopen its pool and gym July 1, with many restrictions.

CALABASAS, CA — Just in time for the Summer Solstice, the city of Calabasas announced that the pool and fitness center will reopen July 1, with strict restrictions.

The tennis courts reopened May 18 with restrictions in line with Los Angeles County regulations. Only singles play is allowed, and reservations can last for an hour maximum. Physical distancing of six feet is required at all times, and face coverings are required at all times except during active play. Participants must bring their own balls, rackets, and water bottles.

When the pool opens, visitors will also be required to keep six feet apart and wear face coverings except when swimming. Reservations for lap swim are a maximum of 25 minutes and can be reserved up to 48 hours in advance. Members are limited to two reservations per day. Visit here for more information.

Additionally, everyone entering the Tennis & Swim Center will be temperature and symptom-screened upon arrival, and anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be turned away for a minimum of 72 hours. A facility representative said that staff temperatures are also taken regularly.

Primetime members will pay 50 percent of normal rates during the month of July, while non-primetime members will pay 75 percent. Visit here for more pricing information.
