Triple-Digit Heat Wave Scorches Calabasas

Temperatures are expected to reach 100 mid-Wednesday.

CALABASAS, CA — As political demonstrations heat up all over the Southland, actual temperatures are heating up as well.

Temperatures will reach 100 in Calabasas Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Despite the scorching temperatures, the National Weather Service has not issued any heat advisory as of 10:30 Wednesday.

The temperature will cool down Wednesday night to around 61, but will climb back up on Thursday, reaching highs in the low 90s. Temperatures are expected cool down Friday, and remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s throughout the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming becoming light and variable after midnight.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 91. Light east southeast wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 79. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.
