2 South Bay Crashes Head Off Afternoon Commute

Hump Day is getting a jump on the PM commute with crashes that are blocking lanes on Highway 101 and the other on I-280.

SAN JOSE, CA — Two South Bay crashes caused a few headaches for the afternoon commute, the California Highway Patrol reported.

One crash listed on the southbound side of U.S. Highway 101 at Interstate 280 blocked lanes but has since cleared.

I-280 had one of its own on the northbound side south of State Route 85 between Cupertino and Sunnyvale.
