Barricaded Burglary Suspect In Standoff With South Bay Cops

SAN JOSE, CA — A South Bay burglary suspect barricaded themselves in a home early Monday morning leading to a standoff with officers, San Jose police said.

As of 8:30 a.m. traffic was closed on Primm Avenue between Christopher Street and Miami Avenue.

The standoff involving a barricaded person is the second such incident reported in this South Bay city Monday morning.
A family disturbance reported at around 3:25 a.m. led to a person barricading themselves in a home on the 1500 block of Meridian Avenue. according to police.
