CACCC Proudly Rebroadcasts Virtual 15 Year Celebration of Compassion in Action: A Year to Be Mindful - Friday, December 4 from 10am-12pm PT
Join the Chinese American Coalition for Compassionate Care (CACCC) for the virtual “live rebroadcasting” of A Year to be Mindful, a free professional healthcare forum, celebrating 15 years of compassion in action on Friday, December 4 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM PST. The forum was originally held virtually in October. Keynote speaker features the renowned palliative care physician, Cynthia X. Pan, MD, AGSF, FACP, Chief, Geriatrics and Palliative Care Medicine, New York Presbyterian Queens and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Pan will share her insights and experiences as a COVID-19 patient and as a palliative care physician and medical educator during this historic pandemic. Other distinguished speakers include: CACCC founder Sandy Chen Stokes, RN, MSN; Suncrest Hospice, San Francisco Bay Area, hospice medical director Gary Lee, MD; Zen Caregiving Project (ZCP), San Francisco, executive director Roy Remer, and CACCC’s Mindful Self-Care for Caregivers project lead Teresa Cheng.
