Campbell June Death Notices: TV Actor and War Heroes

See the list of people with ties to Campbell that passed away recently.

Bernice Ales: A graduate of Campbell High School, Ales was a secretary for 48 years. She passed away June 23 at age 80.

Mildred Duckett: A former Campbell resident, Duckett passed away in Kansas at the age of 94 on June 14.

Vera Lee Gott: Gott was an active member of the Campbell Church of Christ. She was married for 41 years and passed away on June 6 at age 67.

Ernest William (Ernie) Lara: A resident of Campbell, Lara was born in Santa Clara and served in the Army. He passed away on June 14 at age 89.

Ruth E. Launer: Launer taught in the Campbell Union School District. She was a teacher for 50 years and a great wedding singer. She passed away June 3 at age 80.

Josephine Nesci: Services were held for Nesci in Campbell on June 21. She was a baker, wedding cake decorator and a religion teacher at Holy Cross and Saint Lucy's Church for over 30 years. She passed away June 10 at age 67.

Raymond Garcia Reyna: A celebration of Reyna's life will be held in Campbell later this week. He was a Marine with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He passed away June 19 at age 82.

Belton Wolf: A resident of Campbell, Wolf served in World War II, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with four oak-leaf clusters, and the Purple Heart among others. He was also in the Screen Actors Guild, appearing in movies and TV shows. He passed away June 13 at age 89.
