City Hall Vandalized, Arrest Made
A suspected vandal was arrested for allegedly defacing San Jose City Hall.
San Jose Police arrested a suspect for allegedly vandalizing City Hall late Friday evening. The incident followed a similar situation at the home of Mayor Sam Liccardo.
At about 10:45 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Liccardo's residence, where evidence was collected and a vandalism report was taken. Both incidents are related to a planned protest that commenced earlier in the evening in downtown San Jose.
Detectives will be investigating to determine if the two vandalism incidents are also related.
