Crash Blocked SR-17 South Of E. Hamilton Avenue: CHP
Lanes were blocked on southbound SR-17 due to a crash. Caltrans had also closed the northbound on-ramp due to construction.
CAMPBELL, CA — Motorists may want to avoid State Route 17 in the South Bay if possible on Wednesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol reported a crash that blocked the left shoulder in the southbound lanes south of East Hamilton Avenue as of 4:03 p.m., while Caltrans put out an advisory is was closing the northbound on-ramp in the area. The crash has since cleared.
The main connection between Campbell and Santa Cruz is notorious for its traffic issues.
