Crooked Campbell Transactions Lead To Identity Theft Arrest
Police last week arrested a San Jose man on multiple charges after he allegedly made fraudulent transactions at two Campbell businesses.

CAMPBELL - Police last week arrested a San Jose man on multiple charges after he allegedly made fraudulent transactions at two Campbell businesses.
38-year-old Hoang Do, a San Jose resident, was taken into custody after police allege he made several fraudulent transactions at Sports Basement and Whole Foods Market locations in Campbell.
Police say Do was identified as the suspect making the transactions with the assistance of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

According to Campbell police, on Monday, July 11th, detectives served search warrants at two locations in San Jose related to the ongoing investigation.
Police say at Do’s residence, detectives found thousands of dollars worth of items purchased fraudulently.

Items used to manufacture counterfeit credit cards - including over fifty completed cards - were also discovered, according to Campbell police.
Detectives say they also found evidence that links Hoang Do to "numerous other fraudulent purchases throughout the Bay Area."
Hoang Do was taken into custody for grand theft, counterfeiting credit cards, identity theft and possessing stolen property, in addition to other charges.
