Deaf Woman Suing Over Mocking At Campbell Jack In The Box: Report

The woman was ordering from the fast food eatery's drive-thru window where a clerk refused her service and mocked his disability: report.

CAMPBELL, CA — A hearing-impaired woman is suing Jack in the Box on the grounds of discrimination after an encounter at the drive-thru window at the Campbell restaurant in which she was mocked and refused service by the clerk manning the window last month, KRON4 reported.

The cell phone video taken from Revae Jensen's vehicle shows her trying to order and explaining she's completely deaf and couldn't hear. The clerk is heard and seen then telling her to move on, declaring: "No food for you." He also mocked her disability by using fake sign language.

When Jensen, who was born deaf, was interviewed about it by KRON, she was in tears.

"This is the first time my son (who was in the car) witnessed this," she said on the video.

Jensen had bypassed the drive-thru speaker and placed her order in person at the second window, KRON added.
