Fire Crew Stomps Out Early Morning Blaze In SJ Park

The small fire was reported at Danna Rock Park near Valley Christian High School at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday.

SAN JOSE, CA — Fire crews contained a small grass fire at Danna Rock Park in south San Jose early Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The blaze was first reported at 2:28 a.m. at the park located near Valley Christian High School, according to Fire Captain Mitch Matlow. It was contained to one acre and nobody was injured.

Forward progress of the blaze was stopped around 3:20 a.m.
