First Day of Fall Arrives

Fall officially began in California at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday morning— Sept. 23.

“During the autumnal equinox, day and night are balanced to nearly 12 hours each all over the world,” weather.com reported.

Mountain View’s Google doodle is even dedicated to the change of the season.

If you’re lamenting the last of the lazy days of summer, don’t fret! Here’s some of the most awesome things about autumn. Plus, we are likely to have more than a few warm days left.
