Grand Theft Suspects Use Credit Cards Stolen In Campbell, Cupertino: Police

Police are asking for help in identifying two grand theft suspects who bilked Target stores in San Jose and Sunnyvale. Recognize them?

CAMPBELL, CA - Campbell police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects they say made fraudulent transactions after using credit cards stolen in Campbell and Cupertino.

According to Campbell police, property was taken from a vehicle parked at Dell Park in Campbell on Tuesday, July 19th around 6 p.m.

Police say immediately following the theft, the victim’s credit cards were used to purchase items at the Target on Hillsdale Avenue in San Jose.

According to Campbell police, the two subjects depicted in the surveillance image are tied to the bogus transaction.

Campbell police say the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a similar incident, which also occurred on Tuesday, where deputies say credit cards were taken during a window smash vehicle burglary at the Cupertino YMCA parking lot.

According to authorities, the same two subjects were caught on surveillance cameras making fraudulent transactions shortly thereafter with the YMCA victim’s credit card at a Target store in Sunnyvale.

The Sheriff's office says the vehicle depicted in the surveillance image is associated with the theft at the YMCA.
